Notice to Applicants for Membership

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE SUBMITTING THIS APPLICATION

By submitting an application for membership to Uxbridge Clays (“UXC”), the applicant (“Applicant”) hereby acknowledges, understands, and agrees to the following terms and conditions:

  1. Acceptance of Governing Documents
    The Applicant expressly agrees to be bound by all Terms and Conditions, Rules, Regulations, and Policies of Uxbridge Clays, as amended from time to time, which are published under the Membership section of the Uxbridge Clays website and are incorporated herein by reference.
  2. Payment of Membership Fees
    The Applicant agrees that the full annual membership fee is due and payable in advance and must be submitted contemporaneously with this application. Submission of payment does not constitute acceptance of membership.
  3. Right of Withdrawal
    The Applicant may withdraw this application within forty‑eight (48) hours of submission by providing written notice via email to frontdesk@uxbridgeclays.com. In the event of a timely withdrawal, membership fees paid shall be refunded less a non‑refundable transaction processing fee equal to 2.5% of the total amount paid.
  4. Application Review and Refusal
    All applications are subject to review and approval by the Board of Directors of Uxbridge Clays, or its duly authorized representatives, in their sole and absolute discretion. If an application is declined for any reason, all membership fees paid by the Applicant shall be refunded in full, without interest or further obligation.
  5. Probationary Membership Period
    All new members are subject to a mandatory probationary period of not less than one (1) year. Continuation of membership beyond the probationary period is not guaranteed and shall be determined solely at the discretion of Uxbridge Clays.
  6. Conditions of Participation and Certification Requirements
    During the probationary period, members shall be evaluated by Uxbridge Clays’ Directors and Staff. As a condition of membership, all new members must successfully complete:
    • Required Safety Certification Testing, and
    • A mandatory Induction Workshop.

These requirements must be completed within the timeframe prescribed by Uxbridge Clays. Unsupervised shooting privileges shall not be granted until all certification and induction requirements have been fully satisfied. New members are responsible for contacting the Front Desk on their initial visit to obtain instructions and scheduling information.
